Where children learn to cook, explore the world and discover the joy of real food.

What if an after-school activity could give children something they will use for the rest of their lives?

Cooking Club is a hands-on culinary programme for international schools, designed to help children become confident, curious and increasingly independent in the kitchen.
We cook from scratch, work with seasonal ingredients, explore food from different parts of the world and gradually develop more advanced cooking skills — all in a supportive, inclusive environment where every child can take part.

No sitting on the sidelines. No watching someone else do the work.
The children cook.

Cooking gives children something that few other extracurricular activities can offer: the opportunity to create something real with their own hands — and to become increasingly independent while doing it.

They learn how to handle ingredients, use kitchen equipment safely, follow recipes, organise their workspace, work as a team and take responsibility for the food they prepare.
And perhaps most importantly, they discover:
“I can do this myself.”
That feeling of independence and achievement stays with them long after the class is over.

We believe that learning to cook should also mean learning to appreciate food.
Our programme places a strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal and varied ingredients, introducing children to vegetables, grains, herbs, spices and other foods in an approachable and enjoyable way.

Rather than teaching children that some foods are simply “good” and others “bad”, we encourage curiosity, flexibility and a positive relationship with food.
Children discover where ingredients come from, when they are in season, how they can be prepared and how different cultures use them.
We want children to become comfortable exploring food — not afraid of it.

Every cuisine has something to teach us.
Through recipes from different countries and cultures, children discover new flavours, ingredients, techniques and traditions.
One week we might be making fresh pasta in the spirit of Italy. Another week could take us to India, Mexico, Japan, Greece, Morocco or somewhere completely unexpected.

Food becomes a passport to the world.

Children learn that there isn’t just one way to cook, eat or share a meal — and that discovering how other people cook is also a way of discovering how they live.

Cooking Club is designed as a progressive programme:

🪄We don’t expect children to master everything at once.

⚙️We start with the basics: safe kitchen habits, simple techniques, ingredients and recipes that help children feel comfortable and successful.

💡As their skills and confidence grow, so does the challenge.

🥐They gradually learn to work with more ingredients, more complex techniques and more demanding recipes — building on what they already know.

🥟Every recipe is a small step towards greater independence.

✨The goal isn’t simply to teach children a collection of recipes. It is to teach them how to cook.

Cooking should be accessible, encouraging and enjoyable — regardless of a child’s previous experience, confidence level or relationship with food.
Our classes are designed so that children can participate actively, learn at their own pace and experience success.

We create an environment where asking questions is encouraged, mistakes are part of learning and there is always something a child can contribute.
Some children arrive already confident in the kitchen.
Others may have barely held a kitchen knife.
Both can belong at the same table.

Every session is different, but children are always actively involved.

Discover
We introduce the recipe, ingredients, techniques and cultural context.

Prepare
Children learn how to organise their workspace, prepare ingredients and work safely.

Cook
This is where the real learning happens. Children chop, mix, knead, shape, season, bake, cook and create.

Taste
We try what we’ve made, talk about flavours and textures and encourage children to reflect on their experience.

Clean up
Because becoming a confident cook also means learning how to look after your kitchen.

➡️Create. Cook. Taste. Learn. Repeat.⬅️

I want it in my school!

  • Practical cooking skills
From basic knife skills and kitchen safety to increasingly advanced cooking techniques.
  • Greater independence
Children learn to plan, prepare and complete tasks with growing confidence.
  • A broader food vocabulary and knowledge
They discover ingredients, cuisines, cooking methods and food traditions from around the world.
  • A positive relationship with food
We encourage curiosity, flexibility and openness rather than pressure or judgement.
  • Teamwork and communication
Cooking together naturally creates opportunities to cooperate, share responsibilities and solve problems.
  • Confidence and creativity
Children learn that recipes are starting points — and that cooking also leaves room for imagination.
  • A growing repertoire of recipes
Each session adds another practical skill and another dish to their culinary experience.

And, of course: something delicious they made themselves!

Cooking Club brings together culinary education, food literacy, cultural exploration and life skills in one engaging experience.

Children aren’t simply learning recipes to reproduce.

They are learning how to:

choose ingredients → understand food → use techniques → solve problems → create → taste → reflect

And as the programme progresses, they become more capable of doing it independently.

Our goal is not to create little chefs.
It is to raise confident, capable young people who know their way around a kitchen.

The programme is designed to complement the values of international education: hands-on learning · independence · communication · collaboration · cultural awareness · real-world skills. And because the programme comes to your school, there is no need for families to travel elsewhere for a high-quality culinary experience. A programme children look forward to. Skills they take home.
